It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but rather the one most responsive to change.

I think the best quality in any individual in the world would be his adaptability and willingness of self-reinvention. When I watched Madonna’s Confessions Tour, I was utterly dazzled by her ability to keep coming with fresh, creative ideas on stage. Her energy on stage makes almost any work of hers a masterpiece (I’m a bit biased). Although Madonna is no Tracy Chapman when it comes to vocals, but she makes the best out of what she has and manages through her creativity to churn out massive hits in the music industry.
Self-reinvention is necessary, in my opinion, from time to time, so one may experience life from a different angle, unleash veiled potentials, and break the monotony in life.
Reinventing yourself, however; does not necessary entail wiping your identity, rather encompassing the contents of your identity in a new mold.
One of my favorite singers of all time, Shirley Bassey, most commonly known for singing the James Bond theme songs (Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, Moonraker), has indeed re-invented herself, with a cover of Pink’s “Get the Party Started”. Which I might add is absolutely brilliant.
